Mercure Lyon Centre - Gare Part Dieu

The location next to the train station was ideal for our travel plans. The friendly welcome from the front desk staff made us feel instantly relaxed after a long journey.

We loved the location. It was directly across the street from the express train to and from the airport and about a 3 minute walk to the main train station for travel to other citites and less than 5 minutes to a major shopping center that not only had stores but resturants and a grocery store. Within a 15 minute walk, one can be in the city center where there are numerous resturants and high-end shops. Our room was wonderful. In fact, it was the best hotel room that we have ever stayed in including ones in the USA. It was roomy, had a 48 inch flat panel TV, a huge, gorgeous walk-in shower and the toilet and a 2nd small sink were in a separate room. It had all the amenities one could want including free WIFI.

The Rhone Express stops right across the street from the hotel and there is also a Metro/Train Station within a minute's walk.

Aside from the fast food that is available at the metro station, there are no restaurants or nice cafes in the area.

The room was spacious with great amenities, but the air conditioning didn't cool well at night. Walking tours around Lyon provide wonderful experiences.

Internet must be unlimited and faster

Navigating to the hotel was a hassle due to roadworks!!! Parking nearby was a pain, and the room lighting really needed an upgrade for everyday tasks!!! I had to wait far too long for a simple light bulb replacement!!!

The room was big (for Europe) and well set up. It looked nice and was comfortable to stay in. The hotel itself was very conveniently located next to the train station.

The restaurant of the hotel is to expensive for what you pay.

The staff were warm and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with fresh fruits and a good selection of pastries! Great location near public transport made exploring easy 😊

Couple seeking convenience

The location is right next to the train station,,. The check-in was easy,.

It wasn't exactly cheap,, but for what we got, I'd say it was acceptable.

The design of the rooms, the warmness of the staff, the lovation near the railway station and the car retal services.

Everything was good, including welcoming stuff and stunning location in the restaurant where the food was surprisingly delicious. Location: the hotel was short walk to the centre of Lyon. And it was just a short walk away from Le Bistroteur, ate there couple of times. They gave us a superior queen room with the bathroom.
